Operating as a Substation Technical Lead embedded within the Major Projects team, we oversee critical high-voltage transmission assets.

    Design Coordination: Managing multi-disciplinary engineering deliverables, design schedules, and constructability reviews for substations and transmission interfaces.

    Technical Governance: Implementing rigorous design assurance frameworks to guarantee absolute compliance with Australian Standards and Transgrid policies.

    Leadership Reporting: Preparing clear technical reports, specifications, and project strategy dashboards for the Major Project Leadership team to strengthen project governance.

    Enervia is engaged by CPP to deliver packages of highly specialised engineering studies across a diverse portfolio of utility-scale infrastructure assets. We focus on advanced insulation coordination to safeguard high-voltage equipment against transient overvoltages and ensure strict network compliance.

    Insulation Coordination: Performing detailed surge protection, arrester placement, and dielectric stress analysis for critical substations, transformer replacements, and major grid-tied systems.

    Broad Portfolio Delivery: Executing technical study packages across a robust pipeline of critical assets, including the Armidale, Kemps Creek, and Newcastle Synchronous Condensers, along with regional solar and BESS hubs.

    Asset Performance & Reliability: Optimising equipment insulation ratings and transient voltage tolerances to mitigate equipment failure risks and streamline utility connection approvals.

    Armidale East BESS RFT Engineering

    FRV

    Enervia was engaged by FRV to develop the comprehensive Request for Tender (RFT) engineering package for the Armidale East BESS project. We delivered the complete suite of primary, secondary, and structural design deliverables required to take the utility-scale battery storage asset to the market for competitive EPC pricing.

    Primary System Engineering: Developing overall site layouts, single line diagrams, and general arrangements for the 330kV switchyard and 330/33kV substation facilities.

    Secondary Systems & Controls: Drafting detailed protection and metering SLDs, secondary system design philosophies, and comprehensive SCADA and control system overviews.

    Civil & Technical Specifications: Providing civil and structural design philosophy specifications alongside specialized technical deliverables, including 33kV cable rating reports and works interface documentation.
